The new facility for the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program (EATM) at Moorpark College is designed to be an approximately 15,000 gross square foot building on two levels, stepping down a steep hillside on that Ventura County campus.
This will be the first permanent educational building for the nationally known program that educates its students to work with the training and management of zoo animals.
Located at the top of a ridge on the west edge of the Moorpark campus, immediately adjacent to "America's Teaching Zoo", the building will include classrooms, a veterinarian laboratory, a lecture hall, faculty offices, meeting spaces and a bookstore and box office.
