Conferred by the AIA National Board of Directors since 1962, the Architecture Firm Award is the highest honor the organization can bestow on an architecture firm. Requirements for eligibility include continued collaboration among individuals of the firm as the force in consistently producing distinguished architecture for a period of at least 10 years. Nominations are made by an AIA component, AIA knowledge community, or a member of the Institute and are reviewed by the Gold Medal and Architecture Firm Award Jury.
