The AIA LA Women in Architecture Committee (WiA) focused this fall’s conference on the theme of self-advocacy. Powerful X: Shine Your Light celebrated the strength and resilience of women architects and allied professionals by shedding light on their achievements.
E YRC Partner Patricia Rhee, FAIA – a founding chair of WiA-LA - joined an inspiring list of speakers and panelists discussing actions that can be taken by women to self-advocate and deliver measurable progress towards a more diverse profession with increased gender equity.
The day-long event was held on October 6th at The Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles. Several other women from EYRC attended the event as well.
